STEMKOWSKI, Frank, 74, of Alpena died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Barbara (Johnny) Fetty of Alpena; son, Robert J. (Melissa) Van Dusen of Alpena; seven grandsons, Brandon, Bobby, David, Malachi, Isaiah, Josiah and Micah; sister, Karen Hamann of Alpena; and brother, Jerry of Oregon.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 3, 2009, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Alpena from 9 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 10 a.m. with Rev. Rodney Haselhuhn officiating. Military honors will be accorded by VFW Post #2496. Arrangements were entrusted to McWilliams Funeral Home of Alpena.
