Courtney Marie Beauvais and Joseph John Witulski, both of Alpena, exchanged their wedding vows Oct. 11, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Greg McCallum officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Cliff and Linda Beauvais of Presque Isle. The groom is the son of Don and Lisa Witulski of Alpena.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her friend, Becky Sandula. Bridesmaids included Becky Beauvais, sister-in-law of the bride; Missy Witulski, sister of the groom; and Alicia Smolinski, Julie Lewandowski, Kendra Truman and Sarah Nunez, friends of the bride. Flower girls were Jasmyn and Jade Schultz, cousins of the groom. Becky Ross, friend of the bride, performed the readings for the ceremony. Autumn Beauvais, cousin of the bride, ushered for the ceremony, and Casey Kaiser, friend of the groom, was the greeter.
Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Bryon Kaiser. Groomsmen were Jason Schultz and Eric Dubie, cousins of the groom; John Mills, friend of the groom; Adam Beauvais and Jacob Beauvais, brothers of the bride; and Jared Witulski, brother of the groom. Jordan Schultz, cousin of the groom, served as the ring bearer, and Brian Beauvais, cousin of the bride, ushered for the ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a reception honoring the newlyweds was held at the Presque Isle Harbor Association Clubhouse. A rehearsal dinner took place at JJ's Steak & Pizza House.
Courtney is a 1998 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2003 graduate of Alpena Community College's nursing program, and a June 2009 graduate of Spring Arbor University with a bachelor of science in nursing. She is employed at Tendercare Health and Rehabilitation Center of Alpena. Joe is a 1999 AHS graduate and a 2001 graduate of ACC's concrete technology program. He is employed at Propane Plus, Inc.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, and reside in Alpena.
