Bill and Irene "Tootsie" Skoog of Hubbard Lake recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary.
Sharing in the celebration were their two daughters, Linda of Holt and Debbie (Ron) Pettit of Ionia. They are also the grandparents of William and Eric Pettit.
The couple were married June 5, 1954, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Detroit. Bill, a retired machinist, and Tootsie, a retired cake decorator, spend their winters in Sun City, Ariz.
