Jenna Brown and Nathan Gagnon exchanged their wedding vows Dec. 20, 2008, at Word of Life Baptist Church in Alpena. Pastor Dan Lute officiated the 3:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Cathy Nevins of Alpena, and Bill and Twana Brown of Alpena. The groom is the son of Mike and Janet Gagnon of Alpena.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her friend, Anna Wyman. Bridesmaids were Leitica Gagnon, sister of the groom; Ronda Martin, Amanda Sumerix and Ashley Sumerix, cousins of the bride. Attending the groom as best man was his father, Mike Gagnon. Groomsmen were Brian Gagnon and Andy Gagnon, brothers of the groom; Darin Emery, friend of the groom; Chad McNaughton and Robb Brown, brothers of the bride. The flower girls were Maren Winter, cousin of the bride, and Ava Wegmeyer, cousin of the groom. Ring bearers were Eli Winter, cousin of the bride, and Noah Gagnon, cousin of the groom. Serving as ushers were Jordan Romel and Brent Evans, friends of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Alpena Civic Center.
Jenna is a 2003 graduate of Alpena High School and a 2008 graduate of Alpena Hollywood School of Beauty. She is employed by Bay Athletic Club. Nathan is a 2003 AHS graduate and a 2005 graduate of Alpena Community College. He is an AFFA certified personal trainer, and is employed as a manager at GNC and as a personal trainer at Bay Athletic Club.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Sarasota, Fla. They are residing in Alpena.
