Ashley Dion and Brandon Ray Ross exchanged their wedding vows Feb. 21 at Alpena Free Methodist Church in Alpena. Pastor Luke Bedtelyon officiated the 3 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Cynthia Hutchinson and Philip Dion, both of Alpena. The groom is the son of Darbie and Mike Ross of Alpena.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her best friend, Nicole Martell. Bridesmaids were Sarah Goding, cousin of the bride, and Natasha Ross, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaid was Dakotah Ross, sister of the groom. The flower girl was Hallie Ludwiczak, cousin of the groom.
Attending the groom as best man was his cousin, Jeramie Skowronek. Groomsmen were Brian Dion, brother of the bride, and Trevor McConnell, cousin of the groom. The ring bearers were Preston Dion and Cayden Dion, nephews of the bride. Serving as ushers were Trent McConnell and Ashlee Skowronek, cousins of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at K of C Hall of Alpena. A rehearsal dinner took place at Jeppetto's Restaurant.
Ashley is a 2001 graduate of Alpena High School, a 2003 graduate of Alpena Community College and a 2005 graduate of Central Michigan University with a bachelor in science degree. She is employed by Rite Aid Pharmacy. Brandon is a 2001 AHS graduate and a 2008 graduate of ACC with a millwright certificate. He is employed by DPI.
They newlyweds are residing in Alpena.
