Elmer Kindt

KINDT, Elmer A., 70, of Freeland died Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center in Cooper.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Adams; daughter, Jennifer Kindt of Midland; six step-children, Dirk (Susan) Love of Midland, Karen (Ken) MacKinnon of Freeland, Connie (Bob) Kromer of Rogers City, Janice (Ray) Bailey of Hamilton, Joan (Dan) Videtich of Sparta, and Marjorie (Pat) Noblett of Walker; 13 step-grandchildren; and two brothers, Jack (Sue), and Don (Penny), all of Sand Lake.

The funeral liturgy will be at 12 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. Cremation will follow and inurnment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Freeland Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. On Friday, Elmer will lie in state at the church from 11 a.m. until time of service.
