Area residents were left to dodge rain drops Thursday, as heavy rains and thunderstorms hit Northeast Michgan. The storms rolled through Northeast Michigan causing scattered power outages in Alcona County and putting Alpena County under flash flood warnings late in the afternoon. There also were power lines down on Mouch Road near Baker Road in Atlanta and off M-65 in Alpena County.
