IDALSKI, Leo, 75, died at home Thursday, April 10, 2008..

He is survived by his wife, Violet; his seven children, Terri (David) Adam of Sutton, Mass., Timothy (Sally) of St. Ignace, Jeffrey (Brooke Uhl) of Essexville, John (Giovanna) of Pompano Beach, Fla., Connie (Kevin) Dole of Brighton, Ruth (Rodney) Snyder of Bay City, and Joseph of Essexville; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eleanor (Clarence) Darga, and Joyce (Raymond) Zielinski; two brothers, Walter (Jean), and Ron (Kathleen); and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral liturgy will take place 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rev. Dale A. Orlik will officiate with cremation to follow under the auspices of the Bay Area Veterans Council. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stapish Cederberg Funeral Home East (955 Pine Road, Essexville, www.stapishcederberg.com) on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. where a vigil for the deceased will take place at 7 p.m. He will lie in-state at church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
