MEREDITH, George W., age of 1022 Long Rapids Road, Alpena died Sunday, March 30, 2008, at the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Alice, a son Dennis (Sharon); three grandchildren, Rebecca, Sarah and Logan; a brother, Griffin (Jean) of Mt. View, Calif., and a sister Sandra Conklin of Rogers City; and three nieces.
Visitation will be held Saturday (April 12, 2008) at the Brietzke Funeral Home in Rogers City from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service with Fr. Charles Donajkowski officiating. Full military honors will be accorded by V.F.W. Post 607. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
