Note the military style armored vehicle...when the government shuts down and we default, these will be used against citizens when hungry folks need food and begin taking it.

Norman, it will be interesting for sure. Especially when you consider the fact that those manning those vehicles are citizens too and may be reluctant to take up arms against their neighbors

Well Mr. Ranger, it happens all over the country, militarized police harassing and harming harmless citizens. I would hope that locally this would not be the case, but I have seen first hand police abuse of those they are hired to protect.

Norman Lake's comment is one of the most ignorant things I've read on here is a long time. I'd like to look at one of those liberal fruit brains preserved in a pickle jar. I'll bet there'd be visible anomalies..

What is it you find 'ignorant' Huck? Since September 11, 2001, we have seen the increasing militarization of police forces in America. And, why do you object to my expression of police behavior that I HAVE WITNESSED, and find objectionable? There is no liberal agenda being expressed her, only FACTS. Bury your head in the sand if that makes you comfortable, I will not.

Actually, 'Lordy', Americans are 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than a terrorist. You are all afraid of terrorists, yet NOT of police? How 'ignorant' is that?
