you'll money to spend because once you shop at Meijer you will never go back to that so called cheap store wal- across the road. their prices are not best deals in town. prices are lower but look what your getting, smaller cans less content and you know they actually save money because they can load twice as many on a shelf and send their store man home, don't need him for a couple days. their wages are lowest in town while Meijer is a union shop with benefits. You'll like Meijer. I know i do because they will always try and help you out the best they can in any charitable organization. The food they donate to our food bank, its yours too, is always eatable not like bake goods and bread we get from the other which is uaually moldy or so old its unusable except for the garbage can.

This may be the worst thing that can happen to Alpena. The more you build it up the more it loses its small town appeal. Alpena is beautiful as a somewhat undeveloped place. Turn it into a overcrowed city heavy traffic city and all of its appeal is lost. You'll have money with all the peaceful beauty gone. Bad trade off for Alpena. Why would anyone want to go there for a restful vacation when its just another sprawling city?

What a load of scat. The local population continues to drop and there are only so many dollars to be spent. Once the construction jobs and the initial hiring of Meijer personnel ends, look out below. Meijer will mean the death of numerous small businesses in Alpena.
