City police periodically sit in the alley behind my house to catch people blowing a stop sign. They get a lot of people. But guess what; people still blow the stop sign and have been for years. The only thing stepped up police involvement will accomplish on the M32 drag strip is a temporary spike in revenue for the MSP.

If a big box store goes in across from Walmart, there needs to be a sole entrance/egress point at the current stoplight by McDonalds.

How much clearer does it need to be made for the people in this town before they actually understand it is up to them to be conscientious of their driving? A stop sign means just that, STOP. A green arrow means TURN NOW. A turn lane IS NOT a merge lane. Do not pull out in front of vehicle going the speed limit because you're in a hurry (but not so much in hurry that YOU feel obligated to go the speed limit,) if you have to cross a lane to get onto a road YOU do not have the right of way.

glkglk,

The MSP dosesn't get the revenue from the tickets they write. I think everyone knows that. It goes into the state coffers for use in maintaining librarys, roads, etc.

I think more troopers on that road section will be helpful. People are driving through that area with their heads in another place and I'm sick of it. I look forward to seeing them pulled over and accepting their well earned tickets.

Police presence is a variable. A stoplight is a constant.

The 'proposed' road that should be behind WalMart is needed. WalMart 'earns' tons of money at that location, so they should in all conscience be persuaded to build a road behind their store, from Bagley to Tamarack. Of course, we do not want to upset the 'job creators'.
