Perhaps we need to research ways to slow the flow of water out of the upper Lakes, at Port Huron, the Detroit River, and the Lower Lakes at the Niagra River. Retain what water we do have, as once our fresh water enters the ocean, it becomes saltwater.

The thing is that the levels of the Lakes have been dropping for centuries, not just a few years. Go to just about any location around Lakes Huron or Michigan where the soil is sandy, and you can find sand ridges (former sandbars) that run for miles inland.

Normensa: Fresh water becomes salt water? Amazing fact there little camper. Did you also know that once a dead animal enters your mouth it becomes food? As it exits your tailbone it then becomes crap.

I find it quite interesting that all of these proponents of natural macro-evolution, feel the need to physically manipulate the heck out of everything.

Isn't nature your God...or in Normatahari's case, mother? If so, let nature do what it will do. Maybe the salmon and the lakes will evolve into a 3 million dollar fix to the city's water pipes.

If a fish can become a philosopher or a molecule a man, why not? Water pipes aren't nearly as complicated as those rascals.

However, we could follow Normonkey's plan with a few well-placed Beavers. Pay 'em union scale, hope they don't strike, and let them****those*****lakes. Then open up a top-hat haberdashery with the left over beaver pelts. Are you writing this down?

No? Grab a crayon and get crackin'!
