And we needed all of those "smart meters" why? Because those marvelous City Council folks said we did, that's why.

We in essence gave our jalopy with broken piston rods, a shiny new paint job instead. Why? Because of the glistening snow job the council presented to "the people". Paint job/Snow job. Oh thank you dear council for not doing your job.

Is there such a term as serial misleaders? There is in our little town.

Raise the rates. Most families spend the amount of the rate increase on soda pop and chips, anyway. We cannot count on State or federal government, so we must go it alone. This must be done before the Agenda 21 forces get a hold on our County.

rshill7 - you do realize they had to get new meters because many of the old ones were not calculating the amount of water used correctly right? I know someone that according to the meter was only using 7,000 gallons. When they checked they were actually using more like 30,000! The new meters were needed.

iluvusa...

First, I don't believe it. Second, if a person had a malfunctioning meter, that person might need a new meter, not the entire city.

Third, I'll bet he was jazzed when his water bill went up 400+ % right?

It sounds like you're full of something to me. It could be a BLT or it could be simple BS.

iluvusa, you have a valid point. The person that does not believe you has NO problem believing in Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, Rush Limpbaugh, Bill o'Reilly, or the Agenda 21 nonsense being perpetrated on the American public. He is a clown shoe salesman.

Yep, and Bozo below is my best customer. He prefers his clown shoes to be custom-made to fit his feet as well as his mouth, so we manufacture his to be edible also.

Clowns are so passe. Hard to believe you find a market. I bought mine from the back of a comic book. Guess which one?

normanlake...(smile) He's the first in line to complain about service and the first in line to complain about rates when he’s asked to pay his fair share to keep the water supply safe and working. So when he has no logical, rational argument he descends into incoherent babblings. I’ll look forward to his next episode. It’s great entertainment!

Just call'em as I see'em. Not into being lied to, as you two apparently are, Oh Tannenbaum.

What I do is called Truth, in an entertaining format. Neither you nor Normouthbreather ever approach truth or entertainment.

You're both OK ankle-biters though. ouch. Hope that helps.

By the way, I'm also not stupid enough to live within the city limits. I like campfires and owning my own property :-)
