Some states are reverting back to gravel roads in places. From what I gather, gravel roads and maintenance cost about one third of asphalt.

What a load of crap. The price of gasoline has nearly tripled since 2000. Thus, the SALES TAX on a gallon has gone from 8 cents to 24 cents. Wonder what happened to that money... it certainly didn't go to the roads.

The republcans always say they don't raise taxes then raise taxes on the middle class and poor while the rich count their money by millions and billions.
