this is for Alpena Public Schools if you are out of money and are looking for ways to save money now this is couple ways could work.
1. Start looking for smaller schools to face like Class B & C schools and get into a diffrent League instead of the BIG NORTH CONFRENCE.
2. Start Cutting some Sports (wresling,Soccer,Tennis,Swimming, Hockey,Golf,) & your elective classes.
3. Start Cutting Some Teachers,Janitors,Bus drivers,Office aides, Security Guards, Coaches,
4. Sell Sunset School Property, Sell Some of your School Buses That sit in the Bus yard you have to many.
5. shut down more schools in Alpena /Combine the kids together to other schools

Sad that it has come to this. If times were better and people weren't struggling so much, the millage may have had a better chance. The cuts in Lansing haven't helped: people feel if they get a tax increase it will never be enough; next year, same problem.

Tax payers are tired of their hard earned dollars being exploited. Times will not get better while an ever shrinking number of tax payers have to support an ever growing group of people that believe money solves everything. Private schools successfully educate their kids, usually on extremely limited budgets.

This millage campaign was called 'KidsFirst' or something like that, but it's really 'MoneyFirst' and the tax payers are beginning to recognize deception.

On the brite side this will force the schools to become lean, if they got their increase its business s usual. On the dark side our kids really are our future. Too bad their caught in this mess....scrappy

Colorado is using recreational marijuana tax to support schools. Michigan will lag behind as ususl while the republicans try to destroy public schools that teach about evolution and varied human sexualities.
