Catch some adult with a joint in his pocket, and get the book thrown at them. This is not justicw, police officers should be held to an impeccable standard. What a joke, a bad one.

The lesson here is if you want to be a successful felon in this area first become a cop or know someone in the court system. Then you can do pretty much whatever you want with relative impunity. The nuts are in charge of the nuthouse....shredder

I know Dan personally and professionally. I agree with his attorney, he is NOT a "dirty cop". And, he has been held to an "impeccable standard". (I have seen nothing about the other person who was with him when the bomb was found.) Dan was a good police officer, who made a serious error in judgment. Two decades of his life, and who knows how many more years ahead, have been destroyed. He has acknowledged this and accepted responsiblity for his actions. My prayers are with you, Dan.

Prayers can be free and can change the neurotransmitter functions of the person praying but I'm thinkin the jail cell will be just as nasty.
