Sebert (Pete) and Beverly Dant of Ossineke recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Rosa's Lookout Inn.

The couple has three children: Del (Delynn) Dant of Highland, Kitty (John) Bilbo of Ossineke and Todd Dant of Ossineke. They also have five grandchildren: Trey and Travis Dant of Ossineke, and Paige, Michelle and Spencer Dant of Highland.

Mr. Dant and the former Beverly Kitter were married April 26, 1958, at Spruce Presbyterian Church. They are planning a three-month fishing trip to British Columbia and Alaska as a part of their celebration. They will be taking the trip with friends Richard and Bonnie Stover of Harrisville, who celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Dec. 31, 2007.
