Not just for humans

October 21, 2009 - Diane Speer
I'm a sucker for cats, so when Jodi Headley of Alpena brought in a photo recently of the four-footed furry member of her family, I couldn't resist running it on this Saturday's Alpena News Lifestyles page. I'm also providing a sneak peak today of this rather patient 24-pound cat that goes by the name of Sly.

Sly let his humans (Jodi's children, Cody and Alyssa) dress him up in a Halloween costume, then posed for pictures. Too cute! When he's not modeling Halloween costumes, Sly likes to sleep with a large stuffed animal that's a St. Bernard dog called Beethoven. Jodi said he's the perfect pet - always sensitive to his family's moods and if they are sick, he's right there trying to make them feel better.

Sly is four years old and was rescued from the Huron Humane Society. I'd say he earned a few extra treats for his willingness to prove that Halloween costumes aren't just for humans.
