Spending time in a fantasy world

I am, and I have spent the last weeks pouring over every statistic I can get my hands on and watching as much film as possible from last year as I conduct my own version of a NFL combine.

All this is leading up to the second best day of the year - ranking just below Christmas - the fantasy football live draft!

I get goosebumps just thinking of the excitement of the day. Will it be Manning or Brees, Fitzgerald or Johnson? Decisions, decisions. We'll lock ourselves away in a "Man Cave," each with paper, pencil and a new season full of potential - waiting our turn with poker faces.

While traditionally I fare better in Fantasy Baseball than Football, I nevertheless am poised on the brink for a fantastic season.

I can hardly wait.
