Now and again you see stories that leave you, well, shaking your head. One of those today comes out of Ludington.
The story itself is bizarre enough on its own merit, but what really got me was the wording the newspaper used to describe the woman's reaction to what was going on.
The Lundington Daily News reported this week that a naked 14-year-old boy taking a walk with a large white poodle assaulted a woman in Oceana County.
Now we need to quickly point out the teen apparantly had walked away from a behavorial treatment facility. Obviously the youth has some issues and was getting help.
The newspaper reports that the youth and the poodle were walking when they came upon a 53-year-old woman in her yard. The next quote is what is priceless to me: "The young naked man approached her with his poodle, and she immediately realized something peculiar."
Something peculiar? You've got to be kidding. And, she immediately noticed something strange. I would have worried had she not immediately recognized that fact.
Some stories are too good to be true. This is definitely one of them.
