Deserving of recognition

May 30, 2008 - Diane Speer
Kudos go out to Heather Nordenbrock and Lisa Rhea, who as advisers to the Alpena High School Masquers Club, recently planned a special evening for students involved in drama. Held at Thunder Bay Theatre, the event not only served as an awards night for many jobs well done by the students, but it also was the second annual induction ceremony for admittance into the International Thespian Society. Both Nordenbrock and Rhea are making involvement in theater at the high school a big deal by association with this prestigious thespian group.

The Masquers Club gives students a place to foster their talents, find their own niche at school and develop a life-long love of the theater. These two advisers are certainly doing their part to encourage the students. For more details and some photos from the special evening at TBT, check out the Lifestyles section in this Saturday's Alpena News.
