Mr. President, please don’t insult the swamps

These last two weeks for the nation in nominating a new U.S. Supreme Court justice have been the most tragic, disgraceful, disgusting and embarrassing since George Washington! Our credibility and respect around the world could not go any lower. One woman on the Hannity radio show said she “is ashamed to be called an American, and if I’m ever overseas again, I will say I’m Canadian or Australian!”

Who can blame her, as the people that we elected and trusted trashed this country like it has never been. President Donald Trump should revise the name for Washington and call it as it is — a cesspool! When you look at it, a swamp is one of nature’s natural wonders with its cat-o-nine-tails, and tranquil atmosphere. In my book, it was more intelligence per foot than Washington has per square mile. So, Mr. President, don’t insult swamps.

When you really analyze the situation, it is a bonanza for lawyers and publicity for the alelged victims. Why did powerful people in government let it go this far? Anytime somebody runs for some office, the woodwork comes alive. The way it should be, is if somebody comes up with an accusation, no matter the time limit, and does not have any backing like a court or police report, then there is no proof of any law that has been broken, and the accusation is withdrawn. Why do these alleged victims wait decades later to complain? What this hearing did to Kavanaugh and his family will only discourage the brightest candidates in the future from office!

Our forefathers had given us the greatest system in the world. The Constitution was designed by geniuses, only now to be misinterpreted and ignored by idiots! Fire them all and put the school kids in charge!
