We appreciate you Alpena Power and all employees (especially those who had to go out into the storm), for you were right on top of things regarding the “Historic Spring Storm of 2018.”

On the very early morning of Saturday, April 14, (4:20 a.m.) the howling winds and sleet pounding on our windows woke us up and we soon realized that our power was out. It was nasty out there and we anticipated a long while without power. To our very pleasant surprise the power was back on at approximately 7:45 a.m., just in time to make coffee.

So to those who had to go out into that storm, as we know it’s your job, but you deserve a everyone’s appreciation on a job well done.
