Times have changed but not for the better

What a pickle we are in. When I hunted as a teenager, my clip only could hold five rounds by law. But from the 1950s on, the NRA and gun lobbyists and inept Congress didn`t put the brakes on, so now thousands of people have rifles that can shoot 700 rounds per minute, don`t have to give them up. Any new laws or background checks might help some, but the gates were left open and the cows are out. Just heard that many of these shooters were on anti-depression drugs which will be seriously looked into. One positive effect Harvey, Irma, Maria, and now Las Vegas is that the news media are showing more people praying and thanking God. As Christians we must also apply

11 Chronicles 7:14 — If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray (more fervently) and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
