No place for violence, bigotry in America

People for Social Justice decry the display of violence, bigotry and hate that was evident this weekend in Charlottesville. President Trump’s reluctance to speak out against the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and their ilk can only be called despicable. His crass political calculation to appeal to those members of his base make my heart break. This is not who we are and does not represent what we stand for as Americans. Evil needs to be called out so that we can stand and fight against it.

Let’s work together to counter this extremism and work toward making our town, our state, our country a better place; a place where all are welcome and included.

It starts when we stand up one by one to be counted.
