It’s time for the potato festival and fun

The Posen Potato Festival has been a mainstay in the Presque Isle County community for more than six decades. While the festival is a celebration of the potato, it is so much more than that. It is a point of pride for the community and celebration of life and family.

Traditionally the weekend after Labor Day, it’s a weekend people circle on their calendar and look forward to every year.

This weekend, people from all over will gather for the 66th annual festival. They will converge on Posen for good food, polka music, dancing, midway rides, the grand parade and more. The more the population grows this week, the more the fun grows as well.

If you have the opportunity, make some time to attend some aspect of the festival, we’re sure you will enjoy yourself.

We wish Posen good luck this weekend as it keeps the tradition of the festival alive.
