Linda Lee Brandt, age 69, of Montmorency Township passed away peacefully at MediLodge in Rogers City on Dec. 1, 2018.

She was born March 22, 1949 in Alpena to William and Katherine (Remus) Brandt.

Linda enjoyed traveling, knitting, ceramics, cross stitching, sewing banners for church and christening outfits for her nieces and nephews. She was Salutatorian of her graduating class at Hillman High School. Linda was a life-long member of St. John Lutheran Church in Royston.

She is survived by two sisters, Karen Kay (Glen) Oswald of Fenton and Sandra Jean (Michael) Manning of Lachine; brother, William Arnold Brandt of Hillman; four nieces and nephews, Michael Oswald, Kristi Pfenning, William V. Brandt and Kimberly Obuchowski; a great-niece, Paisley and four great-nephews, William D. Brandt, Blake Pfenning, Brendan Pfenning, and Luke Pfenning. Linda is also survived by special friends, Janelle, Kathy, Kristi, Patsy, Emily, Vicki and many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Katherine; and one great nephew, Dawson Slieff.

Friends may visit at St. John – Royston on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday10 a.m. through time of her funeral at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jason Mandley officiating.

Interment will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be given in memory of Linda Brandt to St. John Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.
