THOMAS DEE HONEYCUTT

Thomas Dee Honeycutt was age 54 when he passed away a year ago on August 24, 2017, after a short illness.

Tom was born May 1, 1963, to the late Foley “Red” and Dora Honeycutt. He worked at Northwest Airlines for 20 years, then retired to work at the Ann Arbor News. Tom loved playing Chess. He enjoyed his many cats over the years. He also wrote short stories and always planned on writing a novel he could put on his book case.

Tom is survived by his wife of 25 years, Gayle; three sisters, Carol Golbeck, Arlene (Gary) Chabot, Dianne (Kevin) Moll; brother, Bruce (Cherie) Honeycutt; several nephews and nieces; two step-daughters; and three step-grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie.

Tom was cremated and buried next to his dad, mom, and sister. A private service was held at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
