STEVEN B. NIXON
Steven Bradley Nixon, age 69, of Ossineke passed away peacefully at home on June 18, 2018, surrounded by his family.
On April 19, 1949, Steven was born to the late Thurman and Norma (Snyder) Nixon in Flint, Mich. Steven attended Central High School graduating with the class of 1966. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966-1968. On March 11, 1978, he married Cathy Regits. Steven was a loving, caring man who always stood his ground. He enjoyed relaxing with music and friends. Steven also loved his animals Suzie-Q, Sugar Baby, Mr. Brody, Foxy, Baby Bear, and Princess.
He is survived by his loving wife Cathy of 40 years; his son Steven A. Nixon of Gresham, Ore.; one daughter, Candice E. (Mike) Holly of Morris, Pa.; one grandson, Nathan Nixon; one brother, Ed (JoAnn) Nixon of Goodyear, Ariz.; one sister, Kaye Moline of Sun City, Ariz.; his sister-in-law Barb (David) Murphy of Alpena, Mich.; along with nieces and nephews, Tim Murphy, Nikkie Geno, Jamie, Angela, Katie, and Alia Murphy; his great-niece Hally Murphy; great-nephew, Liam Murphy; and his truly loved Ossineke friends.
Per his wishes Steven has been taken from the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home for cremation. Private family services will be held at a later date.
