Lucille May Dault, 79, of Alpena, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at home.

Lucille was born Oct. 14, 1938 in Alpena to Muriel and Violet (Allen) Haltiner. She was a lifelong resident of the Alpena area and on Aug. 18, 1957 she married Ivan Dault. He preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 2016. Many will remember Lucille as she and her husband owned and operated Opechee’s Party Store for many years. She loved to cook, bake and travel. A sweet and kind person, what she did best and the most was to care for everybody, especially her family.

Surviving are three children Ivan (Doris) Dault, Kevin (Wendy) Dault both of Presque Isle, Kurt Dault of Seguin, Texas; nine grandchildren Keith Weese, Kyle (Courtney) Weese, Kristy Dault, Andrew (Lisa) Dault, Kendra (Torry) Neff, Kasey Dault, Katie (Josh) Wood, Kevin Dault, Jr., Kurt James (Kymber) Dault, II; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Delores (Bill) Hanson of Alpena; and a brother, Allen (Ann) Haltiner. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Kory.

Lucille Dault is at McWilliams Funeral Home-Alpena where friends may call on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan. Online condolences may be registered at
