Delores L. Klaft, age 88, of Alpena, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017.

On March 31, 1929, Delores was born to the late Anthony and Anna (Panek) Klaft Sr. in Detroit, Mich. She was a secretary and president of the Fan Club for Pee Wee King and the Golden West Cowboys in Louisville, Ky. Delores worked as a secretary for many years in the Detroit area where she was able to attend games of her beloved Tigers. She later worked for the FROMM Company in Grosse Point Woods. Delores was a devoted member of the All Saints Parish; All Saints Rosary Society Group #13, and Daughters of Mary.

Delores is survived by her brother, Ronald Klaft of Maple Ridge; sister-in-law, Joyce Klaft; several nieces and nephews; along with several cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother Anthony “Tony” Klaft Jr.

Family and friends will father for Memorial Visitation on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Posen, Mich., from 10 a.m. until the Memorial Service begins at 11 a.m. with Rev. Arthur Duchnowicz officiating. Arrangements are being handled through the Karpus-Hunter Funeral Home.

Interment: St. Casimir Cemetery in Posen, Mich.

Memorials may be made to Vital Care Hospice of Sunrise Shore of the MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena Cancer Center in memory of Delores.
