Margie Elizabeth (Anderson) Buck, 87, of Alpena passed away peacefully Saturday, March 18, 2017 at MidMichigan Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Margie Elizabeth King was born to the late John and Lillian (Richardson) King on Feb. 17, 1930 in Barton City. She married Nada H. Anderson on Sept. 25, 1946 and later married James “Jim’ Buck. They both preceded her in death. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church and was a very passionate loving Christian woman. Margie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved to travel, family get-togethers, cooking, baking, canning, and playing Bingo at Tendercare.

She is survived by eight children, Gloria (Eugene) Wilkins, of New Jersey, Lucy (Bob) Reilly of Missouri, Nadine Psenski of Lansing, Marshall (Lori) Anderson of California, Loretta Anderson of Alpena, Milton “Buzz” (Barb) Anderson of Alpena, Brenda (Phil) Bouchard of Lincoln, Sue (Doug) Anderson; daughter-in-law, Sharon Anderson of Alpena; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty (Bill) Ramey of Oregon; and a sister in law, Patricia Beer of Minnesota.

Margie was preceded in death by two sons, John Anderson, Thomas (Gloria) Anderson; grandson, Cody Anderson; two brothers, Arthur King and Sonny Beer.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the Bannan Funeral Home from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. with Rev. Kerry Clark officiating.

Interment: King Settlement Cemetery
