ERSELEN LASECKI
Erselen “Lynn” Lasecki (Fradette), age 102 years, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at Bay Medical Care Facility in Essexville. Lynn was born to the late Alfred and Louise (Bertrand) Fradette on Aug. 13, 1914, in Alpena, Mich. She married Daniel Lasecki and he preceded her in death in 1964. Claire was a member of All Saints Parish (St. James Church) for many years. She retired from McLaren-Bay Region in 1979 after 15 years of service. Lynn enjoyed watching movies, especially the old classics and old classic love songs which she loved to sing along to; also traveling and spending time with friends and her family.
Surviving family members include her four children: David Lasecki of Saginaw, Eugenie (Daniel) Warrick of Dearborn, Louise (David) Barth and Evan Lasecki both of Bay City; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by her two daughters: Janice Spens and Linda Wells; son: Michael Lasecki; three brothers and three sisters.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Thursday, March 2, 2017, at 1 p.m. at All Saints Parish (St. James Church), 710 Columbus Avenue, Bay City, Mich. Lynn will lie in state in the church chapel Thursday after 11 a.m. Rev. Jose Maria Cabrera will preside. Private committal will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Childrens Hospital or Charity of Choice. Visiting hours are Thursday 11 a.m. until the time of the mass at All Saints Parish.
