BRETT R. MILLER
Brett R. Miller, 40, of Newberry, died Tuesday evening Dec. 6, 2016, at his residence.
Born March 6, 1976, in Alpena, son of Richard and Chyleen (Hollington) Miller, Brett was a 1994 graduate of Alpena High School and attended Alpena Community College.
Brett was a hard worker employed in the HVAC/heating and air conditioning industry holding several certificates and licenses. A resident of Newberry since 2011, he was presently employed with Klaty’s Plumbing in Heating in Newberry.
A resident of Florida for 10 years, he enjoyed the palm trees and warm weather. Brett enjoyed hunting, puzzles and anything that challenged his brain. He had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed spending time with his family and was loved by all who knew him and admired by his family, friends and co-workers.
Brett is preceded in death by his grandfather Richard Hollington.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Mishell Freese of Newberry, whom he married Aug. 27, 1999, in Alpena; his loving children Erin, Brett, Pamela, Emma, Joey and Ayden all of Newberry; his parents Richard and Chyleen Miller of Beaver Lake; grandmother Glyde Hollington of Beaver Lake; siblings Nicholas (Jennifer) Miller of Kalkaska and Thane (Christie) Miller of Vancouver, Wash.; father and mother-in-law James (Pamela) Freese of Engadine; brothers-in-law Jimbo (Steph) Freese, Andy (Cathy) Freese and Justin (Marisa) Freese all of Engadine; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry on Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Troyer officiating.
