Board OKs contract with tech company
ROGERS CITY — A contract with 1010 Technology was approved by Presque Isle County Board of Commissioners during its meeting Friday.
“We met with representatives and several department heads to discuss several problems ‘they were having in several offices (with technology services),” Vice Chairman Bob Schell said. “I don’t know if anything has happened.”
Treasurer Bridget LaLonde said 1010 Technology had been to her office to fix some issues.
“They were in my office for about an hour Tuesday morning and they addressed several concerns,” she said. “I feel like we’re back on track.”
Schell said the company seemed concerned with the satisfaction of clients.
“They promised to come in and clear it up,” he said.
The contract would be for 18 months to last the whole fiscal year, County Clerk Anne Marie Main said.
The resolution was approved with a unanimous vote. Steve Lang and Michael Darga were absent.
In other business:
* the board approved a budget amendment for 89th District Court. Main said the court needed to add $1,400 to the budget due to an influx of trials.
* commissioners approved a budget ammendement to include indirect costs into the child care budget.
