Cook and Smith united in marriage
Rachel Cook and Christopher Smith were united in marriage on Aug. 25, 2018, at Art in the Loft in Alpena.
The groom’s cousin, Matthew Byce, officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.
Rachel is the daughter of David and Patty Cook, and the granddaughter of Nancy Cook, all of Harrisville.
Christopher is the son of Patrick and Nancy Smith, and the grandson of Myra Gapske and Dolores Smith, all of Alpena.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was the bride’s twin sister, Nicole Rice. Her sisters, Samantha Cook and Lexie Cook were her bridesmaids. The flower girl was Emily Smith, niece of the groom.
Attending the groom as best man was his brother, Justin Smith. His brothers Scott and Johnathan Smith served as groomsmen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Art in the Loft.
The couple are both employed at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital, where Rachel works as a physical therapist and Christopher works as a registered nurse.
They currently reside in Petoskey.
