Paige Allia Edwards and Brett Joel Trisko exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 20, 2014. Paige’s sister, Rev. Daniela Edwards, officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony held at The Cellar Restaurant.
The bride is the daughter of Larry and Susan Edwards of Hillman. The groom is the son of Gerald and Linda Trisko of Greenwald, Minn.
Attending the bride as witness was her close friend, Autumn Shroyer-Osborn of Kalamazoo. The groom’s witness and friend was Joshua Snyder of Tinley Park, Ill.
Prior to the ceremony was a cocktail hour featuring signature drinks. Post-ceremony appetizers were served followed by a full dinner reception at The Cellar Restaurant.
Paige is a graduate of Hillman High School, received her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Art History from Albion College and completed a Masters of Arts in Anthropology at Western Michigan University. She is employed as a staff writer at The Alpena News.
Brett is a graduate of Melrose High School in Melrose, Minn. He attended both the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and North Dakota State University prior to joining the Minnesota Army National Guard. He was deployed to Mosul, Iraq from 2008-09. He is currently serving active duty as an air traffic controller for the Michigan Air Force National Guard.
Paige and Brett spent their honeymoon visiting friends and watching Tigers baseball in Detroit. They reside in Alpena.
