Spigelmyre Torz

Jennifer Spigelmyre and Jonathan Torz exchanged their wedding vows Aug. 23, 2014, on top of Mt. Mariah in Spruce. Pastor Jim Erickson officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Susan Partyka and the late Donald Spigelmyre. The groom is the son of Fred and Karen Hering of Hubbard Lake and Richard and Cynthia Torz of Lagrange, Ind.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her daughter, Hailey Nichol, and as matron of honor was her sister, Annetta Boden. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Kamyszek and Jenny Dubey, friends of the bride; Janel Muszynski, Michelle Garcia and Deanna Garcia, cousins of the bride; Monica Torz, sister of the groom; and Justice Torz, niece of the groom. Serving as flower girls were Alayna Gosselin, great-niece of the bride; Hailey Hering and Liberty Stach, nieces of the groom. Dayna Boden, niece of the bride, served as a helper, and Kathy Klein, aunt of the groom, was the hostess.

Attending the groom as best men were Hunter Nichol, son of the bride, and Allen Hering, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were George Boden, brother-in-law of the bride; Chris Muszynski and Kyle Fisher, cousins of the bride; Mark Klein and Ken Klein, uncles of the groom; Alex Cornelius, friend of the groom; and Georgie Boden, nephew of the bride. Serving as ring bearers were Donnie Gosselin, great-nephew of the bride, and Chance Stach, nephew of the groom. Donnie Gosselin, nephew of the bride, was the helper.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Hubbard Lake Lions Club.

Jennifer is an advertising consultant for The Alpena News. Jonathan is a shift manager for Arby’s of Alpena. The couple spent their honeymoon sightseeing in the Upper Peninsula. They are making their home in Alpena.
