SUNRISE SIDE BULLETIN BOARD

Daughters of Isabella

At the October meeting of Daughters of Isabella, Circle 975, a motion was made and seconded to vote at the Nov. 2 circle meeting on merging with another Michigan circle. Letters have been sent to Daughters of Isabella members regarding the voting meeting.

Members who are unable to attend the November meeting are asked to cast their vote by mailing their choice to Regent Diane Laseck no later than Oct. 28.

Results of the Nov. 2 vote will determine the action to be taken by the end of December. The vote is necessary due to constitutional requirements of the Daughters of Isabella. Filling the officer positions has become difficult with declining membership and health issues of current members has led to this decision.

Golden Agers session held

President Darlene Prevost called the meeting to order when the Golden Agers held their recent October meeting. Ruth Werda gave the devotions and the table prayer.

Card bingo was enjoyed by everyone. The meeting closed with the Lord’s Prayer.

The group will celebrate Thanksgiving at the next meeting on Nov. 10.
