TBAC presents soprano Elise Eden Feb. 22
Thunder Bay Arts Council, Inc. presents “An Enchanting Evening with Elise Eden & Friends” at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 at Art in the Loft. Eden will sing, accompanied by piano and viola.
A Michigan-born soprano, Eden is a second-year master’s student in vocal performance at the University of Michigan. She currently holds a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in vocal performance. Eden teaches voice lessons and beginning piano at home in Ann Arbor, and at McCourt’s Music in Berkley, Mich.
She recently completed the Westminster Cooperative Program in Princeton, New Jersey as a Fellow.
In fall 2017, Eden performed on the Power Center stage as Millicent Jordan in “Dinner at 8.” In 2016, Eden performed the role of Rosalinda in “Die Fledermaus” at Oakland University. In 2015, she played the role of Kate in “Pirates of Penzance.”
Eden was a finalist in the 2017 Opera MODO Detroit Aria Competition. In 2015, she took first place in her category at NATS at Michigan State University.
Buying tickets in advance for the Feb. 22 concert is highly recommended. Advance adult tickets are two for $25, but they will be $15 each at the door.
As with all TBAC events, children and students will be admitted free of charge.
Advance tickets may be obtained through the TBAC website, www.thunderbayarts.org, or during TBAC’s office hours at 127 W. Chisholm Street, and at Neiman’s Family Market.
Admission is also available to holders of 2018-19 TBArts Passes.
