Elizabeth Rose Modrzynski and Ethan Allen Wojda are announcing their engagement. Elizabeth is the daughter of Tim and Jane Modrzynski of Alpena. Ethan is the son of Allen and Kelli Wojda of Lachine.

Elizabeth and Ethan met while attending Alpena High School and are both 2011 graduates. Elizabeth then attended Alpena Community College graduating with an Associates in Applied Science Degree before moving to Mt. Pleasant to attend Mid Michigan Community College where she graduated with an Associates in Science Degree and become a licensed physical therapist assistant. She is currently employed by Genesis Rehab Services working as an LPTA for Medilodge of Alpena where she has been employed for three years.

Ethan also attended Alpena Community College where he studied Automotive Technology. He is currently employed by Wojda Forest Products.

The couple will exchange their wedding vows in a Catholic ceremony at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Alpena on June 9, 2018 at 1 p.m.

Ethan and Elizabeth will reside in Lachine with their golden retriever, Dezzi, and horses, Hobo and Sweetie.
