The auxiliary flags were removed from the cemeteries on Oct. 22 and will be replaced in the spring. It was announced that the Veterans Day ceremony, lunch, Chinese raffle and band held at Flanders Field and Post 2496 were a great success. All proceeds go to the Veterans Relief Fund.

On Dec. 7, the post will host a Pearl Harbor Remembrance Ceremony.

The bingo report was given and a donation of $1,158 received. The audit report for July through September was approved as read.

The auxiliary voted to give a donation for Thanksgiving dinners to the Sunrise Mission. Valerie and John Vance agreed to cover the cost.

A potluck dinner and gift exchange for the post and auxiliary will take place at 5:30 p.m. before the Dec. 12 regular meeting held at 7 p.m.
