Sunday Music at the Library series continues

Alpena County Library presents a musical performance by singer-songwriter Amy Petty on Sunday at 2 p.m. The event is part of the library’s Sunday Music at the Library series

Petty’s sound and songwriting is a complex and original soundscape that weaves a tapestry of folk, pop, rock and blues ballads. She has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Club Passim in Cambridge, Mass., and Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, NH.

Petty has shared the main stage with artists like Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Andrea Corr, Darlene Love, Suzanne Vega, Loreena McKennitt, Steve VanZandt and Melissa Ferrick.
